Job details Regional Sales Manager - Broadcast Ecosystem

LOCATION: Singapore, but will consider home-based from India, Thailand, Hong Kong, KL
SALARY: If you’re good at direct and partner sales to broadcasters – it’s a king’s ransom, if you’re just average, it’s a paupers purse!

Rapidly growing, securely financed, and operating a leading position in the booming media content security space, this firm are agile and quick-witted enough to be disruptive in eroding the market share of some of the worlds largest CAS vendors.

Currently their product set covers all types of video networks (DVB, IPTV, PC, Over-The-Top (OTT) and Mobile) and all types of devices (STBs, PCs, Mobile and other consumer electronic devices capable of displaying video content).

Our client’s historical strength is in the IPTV space and its current strategy is to aggressively grow its business with traditional broadcast opcos (cable, satellite and terrestrial). The move from analogue to digital, the deployment of HD and MPEG 4 and one-way to two-way networks are trends that are expected to fuel this strategy. Our amazing client are developing innovative content protection solutions that enable service providers to manage their content to the consumer across multiple networks and devices in a totally transparent way, while maintaining a single interface to their business rules and databases.

We’re looking for a Regional Sales Manager to take this strategy forwards. As an integral member of the APAC team, you will promote the products and services directly to customers and also through building strategic alliances with prominent go-to-market players.

CRITERIA:

Hands-on, Small Company Experience and “Battle Ready”
Proven sales track record in direct and/or partner sales of complex tech solutions to Broadcast Companies through the ASEAN or APAC region.
Fluent in English and comfortable with international reporting (This reports into VP)
Knowledge of DRM, CAS/Conditional Access, Security, QoS, Billing, Media Streaming all helpful but not essential
