Major Responsibilities
To develop data-based, insightful market entry strategies for a variety of businesses in China, in conjunction with the concerned divisions
To lead teams that will be responsible for delivering such strategies
To communicate and sell strategies to senior management within divisions based in China.
In many cases, to work with business divisions to deploy the strategies that are developed
To identify short term incremental sales/cost reduction opportunities for the businesses in China
To work in partnership with China-based sales teams to develop customer interaction plans, distributor incentives, and other tactical commercial initiatives
Required Skills and Education
Technical undergraduate
MBA or equivalent preferred
Fluency in English and Mandarin
5 Experience working with foreign owned MNC's (pref. US)
Experience in strategy development and strategy process management.
Preferred Skills & experience
Consulting experience a plus and a major advantage
Experience in consumer electronics, Telecom industries a plus
The role reports to the Director and the role is that of "individual contributor"
The successfull individual will however be responsible for leading strategy teams that could have a combination of the following representatives: division commercial leadership, division finance personnel, supply chain management, etc.
The business is very successful and is a global leader in its field. Several thousand employees are based in China and the role is located in downtown Shanghai.
