Business Transformation and Services (BT&S) team in IBM China Development Lab (CDL) belongs to IBM Cooperate Information Office (CIO). The BT&S team was built in 2003 with the goal to provide development services for IBM end-to-end process transformation, IT systems integration and application innovation across IBM. The team committed to build applications by leveraging leading-edge technology products and services to yield innovation that matters. With 5 years' growth, the team has involved in the development of several key applications responsible for globalizing and simplify the web experience while increasing self-service capabilities for our clients; enabling seller and developer productivity through enhanced seller tools; automating business processes; and showcasing IBM technology. BT&S team's priorities are focused on demonstrating the value of software business transformation, closing the gaps in capabilities to run the distributed and zSeries software business, enabling Partner programs and demonstrating an SOA framework on large-scale production.
Job Responsibilities
- Document and analyze requirements from business perspective;
- Define current and future operational scenarios (processes, models, use cases, plans and solutions)
- Work with stakeholder and the IT Architects to ensure proper translation of business requirements to I/T solution requirements.
- Work with US project management team to analyze the new business requirement.
- Drive effective solution testing process and strategy, make good test plan and work with test team to deliver good test design and execution.
- Work with local development team, testing team and WW teams to keep tracking solution test progress and ensure timely project delivery with quality.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)
- Strong ability to gather and document requirements using use-case
- Experience of gathering business requirements and turning them into detailed functional specifications
- Strong analytical skills; ability to perform complex systems analysis and draw conclusions by relating information from different sources.
- Ability to diagnose business problems quickly and develop effective solutions for them.
- At least 3 years of project experience, including at least two successful large scale projects.
- Test experience in FVT/SVT/SIT/GVT and automation testing.
- Rich experience in test process, Agile development process is a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English skill.
