Information Management(IM) Division is building competitive and technology enablement teams in worldwide. The team will aggressively approach clients with Data Management portfolio as the primary weapon, support competitive analysis, proof of concept and migration of customer solutions to IM products. The IM technology enablement team at China Development Lab(CDL) is one part of the worldwide organization.
Job Responsibilities
Candidate will serve as a InfoSphere Warehouse Consultant working with client to implement Business Intelligence and Warehouse project with InfoSphere Warehouse as core database. Candidate will be responsible for planning and executing Proof of Concept when necessary to demonstrate the capability of IBM technology. Working closely with the sales team, the candidate will be the primary technical consultant throughout the project delivery cycle.
The project team will often be working on competitive environment against Oracle, Teradata and other DBMS products. Knowledge in these products will be an important asset. A successful candidate should have comprehensive expertise on data warehousing and business intelligence projects. Written and verbal communication skill is crucial. Frequent travel will be expected.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
At least 3 years experience in Data Warehouse design
Certified in DB2 and Oracle is preferred.
Knowledge in application development across multiple environment, such as Linux, Unix and Windows operating systems
Proficiency in PL/SQL and SQL Coding is an asset.
Able to communicate most complex technical decisions to business clients and account teams
Strong leadership, self-motivated, quick learner and with strong problem solving ability
Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Fluent in both Chinese and English, additional languages skill is a plus
Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
Master or above Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
