Job details This role is supporting DB2 Warehouse& BI business . The candidate should have a firm grasp of the underlying software components within Data Warehouse and BI solution. It is critical to turn customer and business partner needs into a solution architecture based on IBM’s DW/BI to deliver their return on investment. Willingness to travel throughout the identified geography is required for this role (estimated at 50% or more).

Job Responsibilities
Lead the early pre-sales assessment, awareness, and demand generation activities of DB2 Warehouse, BI , and the surrounding products and solutions including ETL and analytics
Demonstrate to customers the product capabilities or provided reference implementations where appropriate.

Maintain a post-sales relationship with DB2 Warehouse/BI customers to ensure deployment success and if required identify resource requirements to optimize the customers ROI
Identify and advocate new product requirements, solutions, and/or services offerings working with the product management and services organizations
Develop and update technical sales enabling materials/guides based on client experiences
Secure customer references in conjunction with the sales teams
Engage implementation services and/or support resources as a customer advocate
Interact with implementation services and support resources to identify, develop, and refine best practices for implementation, operation, migration, and expansion of proposed or deployed Warehouse/BI solutions

Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
Knowledge of the capabilities of Warehouse/BI offering
Experience with DB2 DPF implementations on Linux or AIX
Knowledge of IBM p-series/x-series hardware
Leadership and experience teaming across IBM
Excellent customer management skills
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
Highly organized
Computer Science or Engineering degree

Qualifications(Education/Major/Certificates)
English: Fluent
Degree: Masters Degree/Equivalent Experience in Computer Science or a related field is strongly preferred.
Working experience: At least 3+ years of software product management or software solutions selling field experience
