Expert architecture specification skills with understanding of major enterprise architecture frameworks / approaches
Expert governance specification skills with an understanding of different styles of governance
Track record of delivering change through distributed / virtual teams
Prior experience of re-platforming major banking applications is preferred
Expert communications and inter-personal skills, possibly gained through consulting experience with a focus on facilitation.
Knowledge and Expertise
Extensive experience of retail and/or commercial core banking products, ideally gained on a global basis.
Excellent understanding of technology and its application to a retail and commercial banking supported by good general knowledge of technology portfolio
Specification of complex (e.g. service or component-based) enterprise-level IT architectures and ability to evaluate technologies in that context.
Specification and design of major IT systems for financial services
Competence in the execution of substantial IT delivery programmes from inception through to a successful result.
