Job details Manufacturing/Production Planning/Planning Specialist
Reports directly to SPO’s Regional Business Manager, Raman Katyal.

SPO (Service Parts Organization) is a highly customer focused organization, responsible for the entire supply chain management and order fulfillment worldwide of support materials.
As a worldwide global organization SPO operates from three distribution centers - Singapore / Asia Pacific, Roseville / California and Boeblingen / Germany.

The Regional Planner acts as the primary point of contact between Agilent’s Service & Support organization, Logistics and RPC Business Planners regarding material requirements in local country stocks to support customer repairs and contracts. Establishes and maintains relationship with SSU and evaluates and develops plans with the Business Planners to achieve business objectives/Fundamentals and inventory management optimization.

Build strong liason to Service Delivery to understand business needs & represent SPO Planning activities. Review min/max levels and work on business requirements. Involvement in quality issues and escalations. Attend Service Delivery staff meetings. Liason to Logistics for material issues. Ensures compliance to internal and external policies. Ad-hoc query requirements & analysis

Critical Skills
Ability to work independently and effectively represent SPO in teams. In depth knowledge of technical/theoretical planning concepts such as Variability of demand and supply chain management. Strong knowledge of demand forecasting techniques (Qualitative; Time series; Regression Analysis). Strong ability to carry out RCA, strong analytical skills (Statistical (Six Sigma) tools, MS Excel, MS Access, etc.). Ability to influence key stakeholder. Strong presentation & communication skills. Strong negotiation & Conflict Management skills. Strong interpersonal skills to work across functions and geographies. Strong Oracle ERP knowledge.




Qualifications
Bachelor, Master degree or equivalent education & relevant experience. Experience/understanding of the diverse EMG product families, Planning theories, Planning tools.
Demonstrated strong communication skills both written and verbal, the ability to resolve complex process/system problems through the utilization of financial, analytical, & statistical models. In addition, has demonstrated skills in application of TQC and SQC methodologies. Understanding of the Product Life Cycle and its impact on the planning process. Thorough understanding of Supply Chain Management concepts. demonstrates ability to conceptualize and take a project to completion. Negotiation & Conflict Management skills. Demonstrates ability to operate in a cross-cultural/-functional business environment. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills
