Our client is a US listed software provider with a presence in nearly 100 countries globally and annual revenue close to US$300 million last year. They are constantly looking to grow and expand their business and are currently seeking a strong candidate to join their finance team as a Finance Manager.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for all aspects of statutory financial accounts including reconciliation of the general ledger and managing the tax ledger on a quarterly basis for 5 countries across the region. You will also be required to undertake tax provisioning as well as reconciliations of other tax balances and tax forecasting. You will be responsible for liaising with external and internal auditors and co-ordinating the filing of the company's tax returns.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
-A degree in accounting or related field and a recognised accounting qualification
-A minimum of 5 years work experience with a Big 4 or second tier firm; commercial experience will be an advantage
-Strong understanding of Hong Kong and PRC tax; knowledge of other Asian jurisdictions will be advantageous
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills
-Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin
