Job details This is your opportunity to join a high performance consumables marketing team at Agilent. CSD is the largest chromatography supply house in the world. It is not business as usual at the Columns and Supplies Division; we are focused on growth and our vision is to double the size of our business. We intend to continue to outgrow the market and we are working towards being the preferred provider of columns and consumable supplies to the separations and spectroscopy markets.

In this exciting and challenging role as China and India market development manager, you will be focusing on the growth of two biggest emerging countries which Agilent has long term strategic commitments- China and India, to seize the opportunity to become the indispensable chromatography supplies partner and maximize the profitable revenue for the consumables and supplies business.

Responsibilities:

Analyze CSD’s customer experience, competitive situation and market opportunities in China and India on a regular basis; recommend how to improve to maximize business in these countries; and lead execution of improvement plan. This includes:
Collaborating with the AP sales team, SDM, CSD Programs team and CSD Product marketing team.
Working with CSD value chain partners to continuously identify the gap and opportunities to improve customer experience doing business with Agilent.
Analyze the future product/positioning strategy for consumables and provide the in-depth strategic inputs for CSD business team
Measure the local market trends and key external/internal business indicators: general socio-economic trends, market intelligence and sales operation practices in consumables industries.
Collaborate with CSD product managers to coordinate market research in India and China and to provide feedback on market acceptability of new product ideas.

This position is located in ATS site, Shanghai.



Qualifications
At least 5 years successful sales and marketing experiences in analytical instrument, columns & supplies and or laboratory/chemical products,MBA is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and proven cross-organization collaboration capability in complicated matrix organization.
Highly motivated creative and result oriented and able to work with minimum supervision
Always interested learning new skills and self improvement
Fast learner & applies new skills effectively
Ability to motivate and positively influence others
Work as a team, Wants the team to succeed and actively works to ensure that it happens
