Agilent's NDS China Operation is looking for an experienced R&D engineer who has the passion and drive to help Agilent meet our growth objectives. This engineer will be responsible for the design and development of software and will work with a world wide team to have them manufactured and to have them incorporated into products.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors or Master Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, • Proficient in C/C++ , Java and XML. • Knowledge of Objected Oriented design and UML. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work independently and tackle challenging tasks. • Must enjoy a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills. • Good analytical problem solving skills. • Experienced in professional software development practices to create high quality software • Proficient in building, testing, and debugging software. • Proficient in English. • Work with a cross functional world wide team to specify the design requirements and tradeoffs that meet the product’s design objectives.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES • Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) • Understanding of high speed digital receiver and transmitter test and characterization including jitter analysis and eye diagram measurements. • Previous experience with and an understanding of high speed busses (i.e. PCI Express, DDR DRAM, Fully Buffered DIMM, PCI, HyperTransport, SATA/SAS, etc.)
