* Conducting research in client's industry and business; * Meeting/interviewing the client to complete sections of assigned audit work; * In cooperation with management, setting the audit approach to the engagement; * You will develop great client relationships and coordinate the audit process; * Reviewing the work of junior staff ensuring that all work is completed and documented in accordance with our prescribed standards; * Developing the knowledge of junior team members through on the job coaching and sharing best practices on the completion of their sections; * Demonstrating good technical knowledge and have the ability to research and resolve technical issues; * Liaising between junior staff members, assignment managers and partners; * You will be provided with the opportunity for growth which may involve dealing with SEC requirements, P.R.C. GAAP, U.S. GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.; and * Developing strong relationships with your clients to facilitate the completion of client work.
Experience
* Bachelor degree, CA/CPA designation or equivalent is preferred; * Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in an international or large public accounting firm; * Understanding of PRC accounting/taxation practices and regulations; * Specific industry experience (e.g. Consumer & Industrial Products, Technology, Info-Comms & Entertainment, Financial Services, Energy and Mining) would be considered an asset; * Good communication (Mandarin and English - oral and written) and interpersonal skills that allow you to thrive in a team environment; * Demonstrated ability to work in a multitasked, fast-paced and changing environment; * Ability to establish and maintain excellent client relations; * Demonstrated effective management of staff and good team skills; * Possess good time management skills and display well-developed problem-solving skills; * Commitment to providing excellent client service; and * Able to travel.
