Senior Manager
Human Resources – Northern China (based in Beijing)

Responsibilities:
• Act as a business partner to the Director, Operations - Greater China in developing, planning and setting HR strategies, initiatives, policies, and procedures and ensure effective and timely implementation;
• Provide operational and strategic HR services to the business in line with the HR Strategic plan to optimize the use of the Company’s human resources and maximize profitability;
• Work cooperatively with managers of other Shared Service units to ensure an integrated approach is taken in supporting the Company’s strategic goals;
• Liaise with management to ensure integration, implementation, and maintenance of relevant HR programmes, policies and procedures affecting staff at all job grades across the Greater China business;
• Oversee HR operations and activities, including employee relations, compensation & benefits (C&B), manpower planning, recruitment and selection, preparation of employment contract and amendments, employee visa applications, basic training, HR systems, and payroll ensuring compliance with local legislation and market practice; and
• Provide a consultancy service to empower Managers, and develop HR skills and knowledge in the Managers and Operations Managers within CBRE.

Requirements:
• University degree or above in Human Resources or related discipline;
• A minimum of nine years’ experience in effective HR functions and management, including those related to attraction and retention, career planning, developing organisational culture, and exit strategies;
• Experience within the real estate industry would be an advantage.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Mandarin;
• Proficient in planning and executing HR strategies at all job grades, in a timely and cost effective manner;
• Strong detailed knowledge of employment legislation (particularly related to fair and ethical treatment of all employees), local and regional policies and regulatory requirements; and
• Advanced level in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
