Reporting to CEO, you will be accountable for the development and growth of businesses in the region. You will identify opportunities for growth through acquisition and/or development of strategic alliances. These include identifying potential opportunities for the company such as new markets, partnerships, expansion of current projects etc. You will assist the CEO in the development for both short term and long term strategic business development plans in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform business and market intelligence in assigned region(s).
Position the companys integrated utilities, power and water capabilities effectively
Lead in the development of potential projects and new business development initiatives
Lead in due diligence, project analysis/ investment/ technical evaluation and contract negotiations
Promote and foster good relationships with government officials, key government agencies, institutions and business partners.
Prepare board paper/ proposals for new projects and projects expansion plans
Pre-requisites:
Degree in Mechanical/ Environmental/ Chemical Engineering, additional qualification in Marketing will be an added advantage
At least 10 years experience in a marketing, sales or business development role in utilities or related industry
Proven track record of securing projects
Strong business, commercial acumen and business development skills
Excellent networking/ contacts with a dynamic outlook and entrepreneurial flair
Financial analysis knowledge will be an added advantage
Proficient in English and Mandarin with excellent bilingual writing skills
