This is a position within the Business Warehouse Development team which provides for all of Global Business Reporting requirements. This position focuses on the development of intuitive interfaces for reports and report applications within the global BW implementation. Some amount of back end work will be part of this role but the main emphasis is on the front end requirements that various projects have.
Main Responsibilities and Objectives
Deliver Business Warehouse functionalities/ reports on time, on budget, on scope
Deliver Front End interface guidelines for other staff
Work closely with the Business Information Management Group, other business staff, colleagues in the BW technical team, and colleagues across Global IM
Participate in planning and analysis activities
Posses a strong interest and ability to understand business goals and issues to build reporting systems that can help improve the business
Qualifications Professional Skills & Competeneces
The candidate must posses:
At least 5 years experience, in BW implementation in a multinational environment with in depth knowledge in Web Application Designer (BEx)
Good, hands on experience in programming in JavaScript and HTML
Experience with extractions from both SAP and non SAP Systems
Other areas that would be a plus:
o SAP BI7 certification
o Some business or finance knowledge is a strong plus
o BI Accelerator experience
o SAP Enterprise portal experience
