Job Description:
The company has a recycling plant based in Wuxi that purchases metal waste, primarily unused automotive and aerospace parts, and resells it after treatment. Reporting directly to the Managing Director in France, the General Manager's responsibility will be to promote the company's services, establishing new partnerships with relevant companies, extending the client base, and negotiating buying prices. Other responsibilities will include ensuring the company's business plan adheres to best practice at all times, and monitoring the factory's operations team.
The Successful Applicant:
The successful candidate must be educated in business and have developed in a sales or purchasing background, ideally in a manufacturing environment. The position requires solid negotiation and leadership skills and excellent commercial acumen. This role would suit a young and dynamic ex-pat between the ages of 25 to 35, fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (communication ability in French would also be an advantage). Language ability will be tested.
