Due to rapid expansion in the region Diageo is currently looking to recruit the following role based in China.
Job Description:
Reporting to the China Supply Director, the purpose of the role is to lead the Technical Function of the China Supply Chain business by the professional management of a range of Technical projects and by providing support to the newly formed supply chain team based in Shanghai. Key accountabilities include:
Drive the technical projects underway that supports the growth agenda (both innovation and renovation) in China.
Help to ensure the quality assurance and compliance of all products prior to market submission.
Support the orchestration of all the activities associated with local supply (rework, inspection, packaging development and promotions).
Drive the set up of the Supply Governance Programme (including Risk Management Standards and Risk Audits).
Transfer learning and capabilities onto the local Supply team members.
The Successful Applicant:
Key requirements include:
MBA or related Degree in a manufacturing, technical or scientific discipline (such as Procurement, Engineering or Logistics)
Minimum of 5 years experience in technical and/or operations areas.
Strong influencing skills across a number of key business stakeholders.
Technical or Operational Management experience in a Multinational FMCG company in China.
Mandarin speaker with a sound command of English.
