Our client is a global company with close to a century of experience designing and manufacturing all types of surfacing materials. With multiple business lines, our client serves a range of industries and clientèle from the individual consumer to the corporate world including laboratories, hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, food courts, store interiors, airports, railway stations and ships.
Due to their rapid expansion across Asia, a position has become available for a strong Finance Manager to join the China team and help grow the business further.
Job Description:
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Finance Manager will run a team of around 8 subordinates whilst overseeing the daily operations of the China Finance Department. Responsible for the budgeting, cost accounting, forecasting, reporting and analysis, this role also acts as the key point of contact for external parties including the local tax bureau, banks and audit departments. You will take further responsibilities to lead, mentor and develop your team as the business grows.
The Successful Applicant:
-Ideally CPA or ACCA qualified whilst Big 4 training will be advantageous
-8-10 years experience in general/cost accounting, finance, profit planning and taxation
-Excellent knowledge of both US GAAP and PRC Accounting Standards
- Knowledge of using BPCS system is a definite asset
-Good team leadership skills including at least 3 years in manager level
-Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
-Good command of both spoken and written Mandarin and English
