Job Description:
Reporting to the China Chief Representative and to the Chief Executive in the UK you will be a key driver in business development activities in China and internationally. You will develop relationships and manage key accounts with some of the largest energy and energy consuming industrial group in the world, as well as negotiate project terms with local enterprises, government agencies and international regulators. You will execute projects in a timely and professional manner, whilst mentoring and developing local teams.
The Successful Applicant:
To succeed in this role you will possess:
First class project management skills developed in a leading multinationals group.
At least 5 years professional experience with either an advanced degree or MBA
Hands-on experience in the energy sector or in energy related public policy.
An understanding or keen interest in carbon finance and the carbon market in general, including CDM/CER and Kyoto Protocol.
A technical understanding of greenhouse gas emissions reduction technologies, bio-fuels and renewable energy.
Drive, determination and the entrepreneurial spirit necessary to succeed in a new industry.
Native or near native English with Mandarin skills desirable.
