Our client is a HongKong based private equity fund with main focus in China's real estate and infrastructure investment s. They are currently looking for a high calibre senior finance executive to lead the finance team of their large scale residential and commercial developments in Shanghai. Reporting to the Managing Partner in Hong Kong, the Chief Financial officer will be looking after a team of financial professionals to deliver the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions of their subsidiary company and properties developments in Shanghai.
Key responsibilities:
- Key member of the senior management team providing leadership and direction.
- Overseeing an delivering the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions of the subsidiary company and properties development projects
- Financial and management reporting Annual budgeting and forecasting
- Project financing, Treasury & Corporate finance
- PRC Tax planning
- Liaise and maintain good relationship with JV partners
- Investment proposals assessment
- Liaise with PRC regulatory bodies
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years experience of accounting and finance experience gained in the property industry, of which 6-8 years PRC focused. (Extensive PRC property development experience is a MUST)
- Hands-on experience in PRC accounting as well as PRC taxation is a Must
- Well-versed in PRC GAAP
- Property development experience gained in the PRC would be a definite advantage
- Strong business acumen with strong problem solving and communication skills
- Strong educational credentials; CPA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, spoken Shanghaiese would be an advantage but not essential.
- Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
- PRC national is preferred
- Station in Shanghai, willing to travel
