Multinational client in the Asset management industry and offices in Europe, USA and key Asian markets including Japan, Taiwan, Korea, India and Malaysia is currently looking for Manager – Corporate Actions for Singapore Operations



Location: Singapore



Job Scope: The role reports to the Manager, Regional Operations



The person will be part of the team that supports the following back office functions.



The functions involved are:

-Trade settlements for Asia Pacific markets

-Corporate actions monitoring and processing

-Stock reconciliation for UK Funds

-Client Reporting



The role requires the person to work closely with the Manager to ensure that all trades and corporate actions are processed and settled on a timely basis. The team in which the person is in will provide support to both internal (such as CIOs) and external clients, and will involve liaison with external parties such as the custodians and administrators. The team is expected to conduct regular service reviews with the external service providers to secure an acceptable level of service.



Key Deliverables from this role:

-To provide investment trade support to the CIOs and fund managers

-Process trade confirmation with brokers on a timely basis, including troubleshooting

-Sends timely and accurate trade settlement instructions to the custodians.

-Manages the corporate action process with custodians and fund managers, including sending timely instructions to the custodians as well as updating the back office system with the events.

-Manages service levels from custodians and brokers’ backrooms at the operational level

-Works closely with backroom of clients to tackle queries and discrepancies

-Prepares timely and accurate client reports

-To deliver the services in accordance with the agreed Service Level Agreements (“SLA”), best practices and in compliance with the relevant regulatory requirements.

-To participate in the review of service standards provided by brokers’ back-office and custodians.



Principle Accountabilities:

-Responsible for the timely processing and settlement of trades and corporate actions

-Ensure data integrity and accurate flow of information from trade generation through to settlement and reporting, by undertaking regular reconciliation against the source of information.

-Responsible for providing timely and accurate client reports.

-Responsible for updating procedures and documentation to ensure that it remains current.
