Job Description:
Reporting to the Global Marketing and Business Development Director you will be accountable for the development and growth of business in markets including telecommunications, automotive, aerospace, construction, transportation, sports, leisure and energy. Consolidating a position of market leadership you will identify opportunities for growth through acquisition and/or development of strategic alliances. You will manage and support relationships with OEMs in Asia and work with internal business partners to develop and implement marketing strategies regionally and globally.
The Successful Applicant:
Qualified in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, you will have a minimum of 10 years experience in a marketing, sales or business development role in the chemical industry. You will possess a successful track record of working in Asia, particularly Greater China and Japan, and have proven ability to build relationships with global OEMs and existing and prospective customers. Strategic and conceptual thinking abilities are essential for success in this role as are high levels of commercial acumen and strong planning skills. Fluency in English is essential with proficiency in Asian languages desirable.
