Agilent's NDS China Operation is looking for an experienced R&D engineer who has the passion and drive to help Agilent meet our growth objectives. This engineer will be responsible for the design and development of hardware and will work with a world wide team to have them manufactured and to have them incorporated into products.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) • Minimum of three years relevant experience in hardware design and development • Experience in the development of FPGA’s and their related hardware • Experience in signal integrity analysis and hardware system characterization • Background using CAD/CAE design tools • Strong analytical problem solving skills • Work with a cross functional world wide team to specify the design requirements and tradeoffs that meet the product’s design objectives. • Develop the technical requirements and technical relationship with custom suppliers. Determine capability and select assembly vendor. • Set up test tooling, processes and acceptance criteria. • Ensure that the quality and design for manufacturing tests goals are met
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES
• Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) • Experience in the design and development of measurement technology • Experience designing low noise systems • Experience designing embedded system power distribution schemes • Programming experience using C, C++, and scripting languages • Experience with Mentor CAD/CAE design tools • Demonstrated technical leadership skills
