You have the practical tax experience; this is your opportunity to be a member of a dynamic Global Tax team. This is a challenging opportunity with great exposure to enhance your technical, business, people and project management skills/knowledge. Reporting to the Asia Pacific Tax Director and partnering with Business/Functions to drive Agilent strategies and optimize Agilent results through tax planning and advising across wide ranging tax issues, you'll also direct and manage resources and collaborate with others to implement business plans while also delivering solutions that enable continuous improvement and growth.
Your primary responsibilities: -
- Manage Singapore Tax Compliance and Planning & Advising;
- Participate in country, regional & global tax planning and advising, Mergers & Acquisitions, Divestitures, special projects;
- Participate in Corporate Tax Reporting such as quarterly and annual FAS 109 reporting;
- Participate in SOX related activities;
- Participate in FIN 48 related activities;
- Manage and support audits; and
- Manage and build Government Relations.
Qualifications
The successful person for this position will have,
- University degree in accounting/economics/tax. CPA or CA preferred.
- At least 7 years relevant experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or MNC
- Strong direct and indirect tax technical and accounting knowledge.
- Working knowledge of Singapore taxes.
- Exposure to international tax is a plus.
- Good working knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley knowledge is an advantage.
- Demonstrates strong leadership, managerial, communications skills, both oral and written.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Organized and meticulous.
- Demonstrated track record of successful project management.
