Our client is a US manufacturing company that has been expanding rapidly. Distributing worldwide, the China market has become their focus point for their Asian business with manufacturing and trading operations across China. With their business growing at an aggressive rate, our client is seeking a strong Finance Controller to take lead and join their expanding company.
Job Description:
Based just outside Qingdao and reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your primary responsibility will be to oversee thefinance operations whilst training, and developing the finance team. The scope of your role includes taking ownership of the cost analysis, annual budgeting, variance analysis and forecasting to ensure the long term profitability of this growing business.Furthermore, you will lead the development of systems, procedures and controls to improve the overall performance of the finance function. As part of the senior management team, you will also need to liaise with internal and external customers in order to build relationships with financial institutions and tax bureaus to maintain the tax compliance.
The Successful Applicant:
You will be an ethical professional with strong costing skills in the manufacturing industry. You will possess a wealth of technical and managerial experience with a hands on approach to the business. Experience with ERP systems and implementation will also be highly regarded. Having worked in a multinational, you will have a strong business sense and be highly energetic and self motivated to drive results and changes. Happy to be based just outside Qingdao, occasional travel may also be required. Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must to deal with foreign and local reporting lines.
