Job details Bugaboo International has grown significantly over a number of years and as a result, now needs to professionalize its processes to achieve the desired growth over the coming years.
The interdepartmental processes used in the Asian organization of Bugaboo are essential to support bugaboo’s mission and vision.
It is a must that we capture, measure and improve the processes we use in daily business and projects.
The Process Manager will be overall responsible for documenting processes, measuring the performance of the process, managing process improvements and co-coordinating training and skill level improvements.
Besides managing processes the process manager is responsible for the Asian activities for the project management maturity program of bugaboo (mutual program by BHQ and BXM).

The following tasks apply to the job:

- Own, capture, measure, improve and implement /train key business processes and document this appropriately.
- To develop appropriate metrics to measure the efficiency of the process in order to identify where improvements are necessary.
- To report the overall performance of the process to the Integration Program manger regularly and to agree jointly on the priorities involved in improving the process.
- Lead the Asian activities in the project management maturity program
- Own, capture and share best practices and templates of project management deliverables to support the project managers in managing their projects.
- To develop training plans to support working in project teams, knowledge of the NCD/NPD process and additional training that would be required to achieve the levels of performance required.
- Assist the Integration program manager in analyzing and improving transition methods/processes used in the handovers from BHQ to BXM in the product development and product maintenance projects.
- To plan, build, and train a matrix structured cross-departments process improvement team; and launch programs with effective team works using efficient process improvement tools

BACKGROUND & JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education
- Bachelor degree or equivalent studies in either Design or R&D related environment.

Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a production/product development company.
- Successful record of organizing and improving business processes.
- Strong background in cross-disciplinary team processes
- Preference for (and experience in) a dynamic business environment and a fast growing international company where change is the standard.
- Some experience of dealing with interregional business projects in Asia is important.

Skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people, often with conflicting views. Ability to facilitate.
- Ability to capture processes in a style and format others can understand.
- Strong linguistic skills to ensure that documentation is unambiguous.
- Helicopter view on the business.
- Ability to lead teams and create support for the changes needed.
