My client is a successful well known and established silicon producer who is regarded as one of the Worlds’ leaders in solving the shortage of solar grade silicon for PV applications. They are committed to developing “Green Silicon” with is substantially more cost-efficiency generating higher performance for the photovoltaic industry.
To further develop their market strength, my client is now searching for a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to report directly to the Board of Directors. The successful candidate will initiate / lead research and development for 6N Polysilicon, develop and analyzing new production technologies. He/she will be responsible for the general management of the Research and Development team.
Candidates will have a Ph.D and at least 5 years demonstrable research experience within a solar/silicon related industry. This person must have the ability to research and develop systematically and have a strong working knowledge of the PV market in China. Strong managerial skills are required.
This position is based in South East China.
The ability to speak, read and write in both English and Chinese is preferred.
