Our client is a networking vendor, they are currently seeking for a Data Center Technician to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Install, and maintain servers, network infrastructure and client solutions in a world class data center. Work with a team of systems and network administrators supporting our client’s large and growing hosting network
Perform remote support services for customers
Hardware installation including: shelves, power strips, rails, cable management, and customer equipment
Report current status via the ticketing system, shift reports, and email
On call via pager during unscheduled days or shift times for emergency scheduling requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Data center skills such as installing / moving equipment and cabling
Knowledge of common network protocols such as TCP/IP
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities
Ability to lift 60 - 75 lbs
Excellent written and spoken communication skills
5 working days per week (including Saturday and Sunday), night shift is required.
