Job details • Require Candidates with Proven Success in China Retail Business

Branded lifestyle and luxury products companies are actively looking for experienced professionals with solid China Retailing business running experience to join their dynamic retail businesses in China.

Reporting directly to the regional executive team or China General Manager, your key responsibilities will entail, but not being limited to the following:

• Drive the retail business growth across China
• Assure the effective retail operations management, retail brand development, relationship building with new and existing landlords
• Facilitate and turn the retail business into profit, and manage the retail P&L
• Assure the consistency of the brand and retail direction
• Work closely with executive team and colleagues in the Property, Marketing, Business Development, Merchandising and Finance departments
• Closely monitor/improve the retail locations
• Identify opportunity of growth, provide risk alerts, strategic and commercial advice to China and regional management team when needed
• Take on special assignments

Ideal candidates are required with the following listed skills/knowledge and attributes:

• A degree holder from one of the internationally renowned universities; additional MBA degree/finance/accounting background will be beneficial but not essential
• Minimum 10 years of Retailing industry experience
• Proven success/track records with any Consumer Lifestyle or Luxury Retail companies; MNC company background will be advantageous
• At least 5 years of China experience; prior experience of stationing in Guangzhou or Shanghai or Beijing will be must-have
• Passion for China retailing business
• A hands-on, accountable, well-rounded individual with excellent commercial acumen and P&L sense
• Possess executive maturity and readiness for future step-up, moving into a China General Manager role or regional director function
• Mandarin Chinese speaking and writing skills; fluent English is required
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
