Job description
The UMD manages the activities of the Beijing Unit within the frame of budget and policies approved by the Product Line, with the short and long-term objectives to satisfy customers while achieving the Unit’s growth and profit targets in full compliance with the corporate values requirements.
The Unit Managing Director will be in charge of:
• 3 year plan & budget elaboration
• Budget execution
• Sales organization
• Delivery Performance (quality, cost, delay)
• Insuring the environment protection of the Unit and protect his personnel
• Continuous improvement
• People Management
Job requirements
• Bachelor/Master in Engineering with 10 to 15 years experience (including strong management experience)
• Significant experience in Chinese industrial environment in MNC, in Energy field
• Good Manufacturing background: Industrial Process, EHS. Lean Manufacturing, Supply Chain & CI
• General Management: Commercial awareness, cost control, customer focus and financial knowledge
• Strong communication and training skills
• Ability to tackle challenging projects which require a combination of business, organization and technical issues in order to provide maximum value to supply needs
• Native level in Mandarin, fluent in English
