Our client is a diversified funds management business focusing on delivering high-quality alternative and traditional funds management products to its clients. They manage different funds and strategies and have offices in Australia, Europe and US.
Responsibilities:
• This is a key position in this newly set up office, to take a lead role in the running of the complete operations of the company. You will handle documentations, formulate procedures and policies, and manage compliance & due diligence in line with the company's best practices.
• You will also manage third-party relationships with Prime Brokers, Regulators, Custodians and Fund Administrators.
• You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the Asia Special Events funds from an operations perspective.
Requirements:
• 10+ years of experience in Operations gained in Hedge Funds
• Extensive experience in Asia Pac is required: Japan (key requirement), Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore..
• Demonstrated ability to work hands-on in a new set-up environment
• Excellent communication skills with the maturity to be a key point of contact for external parties
• Familiar with Asian regulations
• Assertive, high level attention to detail and self starter
• Multilingual candidate would be a strong advantage
