Our client is an international leader in the manufacture and supply of high quality, high value industrial static sealing products.
For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Support and Application Manager to accompany the growth of the Business Activity in China.
Job description
The Support and Application Manager will be in charge of:
•Responsible for application engineering functions and solving manufacturing problems as they relate to own areas of responsibility.
•Compile data to evaluate feasibility of new product design concepts or strengthen existing designs. Instruct customers in proper use of existing and new products.
•Follow up and coordinate field improvements of company products.
•Answer technical questions from customers and other departments on the use of company products.
•Follow up with additional correspondence, graphs, charts, test date and other information.
•Evaluate new gasket materials for possible use in the present productions setup.
•Advise sales personnel and others on prices, constructions, dimensions and other special requirements.
•Travel to customer locations to diagnose persistent field problems and discuss technical aspects of company products.
•Participate in special projects involving new products to include technical, marketing and coordinating aspects.
•Specify new products based on customers’ needs.
•Be able to present technical data.
Job requirements
•Bachelor degree in Engineering or above.
•At least 5 years working experience
•Professional background in the following industries: Petrochemical/ Nuclear/ Oil& Gas/ Chemical
•A good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
•Strong leadership
•Fluent in Chinese and English.
