Sales Director for China
Suzhou

Our client is an international leader in the manufacture and supply of high quality, high value industrial static sealing products.

For this client, Talent Fishers is looking for a Sales Director to accompany the growth of the Business Activity in China.

Job description

The Sales Director will be in charge of:

•Directs and coordinates the activities of Sales Department in implementing sales network, promoting the client–SIEM products, specification job to key end-customers.
•To define sales strategy in complete autonomy. (profitability, sustainable)
•Implement sales network in main industrial area
•Directs and coordinates activities of Outside Sales Department.
•Follow up of distributors
•Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals/strategies and objectives.
•Directs and coordinates activities of department to further attainment of goals and objectives.
•Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives.
•Serves as member of management committees on special studies.
•Responsible for updating, winning, negotiating contracts.
•Has final responsibility for the set-up, approval, and needs of the individual accounts assigned to the salespersons. Also development of new accounts and sales in an assigned territory.
•To maintain and develop these accounts by telephone and personal visit. To solve any problems with the customers from pricing and quotations to technical.
•Pricing policy with respect to profitability in coordination with Eastern Hemisphere &Western Hemisphere key customers policy.
•Also to remain current with the market and competition in relation to trends in demand and pricing.
•Will develop marketing ideas, trade shows, advertising, catalogs and surveys as needed.
•A thorough knowledge is required of all products sold and or manufactured by Client and related companies.
•Promotion of SIEM – Client’s product range
•Follow up of key customers for specification
•(Shell – GE – CGNPC – CNPE – BASF – ARKEMA ‐ …)
•The Regional Sales Manager will work with inside sales and manufacturing to assure customer satisfaction in all areas. And attend trade shows and customer functions to assure partnerships are developed.

Job requirements

•Bachelor degree or above.
•5 to 10 years experience in Sales
•Professional background in the following industries: Petrochemical/ Nuclear/ Oil& Gas/ Chemical
•A good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
•Strong leadership
•Excellent knowledge of the western business culture
•Excellent knowledge of the Asian market
•Fluent in Chinese and English.
