Our client is leading electrical MNC, they’re seeking senior production manager in wuxi.
Mission of this Job: is to efficiently manage and increase productivity and meet or exceed company production goals.
Reporting Line: directly report to General Manager.
Salary: RMB500,000/annual
Major Responsibilities:
• Direct and control all functions of the Wuxi plant including Production & Workshop policies and procedures, Production Planning & budget, Logistics & Warehouse Management, employment decisions regarding production personnel.
• Manage and supervise the Production Planning function and shift management, coordinates and manages the activities of production function; responsible for overall production effort.
• Responsible for production of goods of specified quantity and quality at minimum cost, and according to schedule by installation of Quality control and development courses to workshop;
• Manages the dispersal and distribution of materials for production, oversee coordination of workshop logistics functions, i.e., order quantities and delivery dates of all raw materials, packaging materials, and private-label finished goods, and direct and monitor the orders and returns processed through the workshops and warehouse.
• Sets and continually updates production schedules and regulates work flow to insure maximum use of capacity and requirements by setting and attaining stretch goals in production, machine and material efficiency and cost reduction and span improvements
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing and other tools to deliver predictable results and eliminate process bottlenecks.
• Support plant EHS efforts by energizing production team to meet EHS goals and objectives.
• Ensure on-time delivery, operational span reduction, cycle time reduction and new product introduction cycle times
• Works closely with purchasing, production, quality control, and engineering departments to maintain schedules and effect changes and revisions.
• Makes suggestions and recommendations for control over traffic, shipping, receiving, material handling, storage and inventory supervisory
• Trains, advises and counsels employees on up-to-date production methods.
• Participate actively in the annual budgeting process and provide inputs to management team on items such as staffing, equipment needs, and required training.
• Promote a work environment that encourages employee involvement in workplace safety, successful execution of quality, cost, productivity and service improvements.
General Requirements:
• Bachelor degree or above in E&E or other related disciplines;
• + 8 years working experience in leading MNC as Production Manager;
• Effective leadership skills to manage workshop people, strong sense of commitment;
• Highly adaptive to change management;
• Hands on approach to problem solving and ability to work under pressure;
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese;
Able to undertake pressure with high performance.
