Working for a large US Investment Bank which is one of the world's leading financial services company, the ideal candidate will contribute to a range of financial tasks to effectively support the Bank's ongoing business concerns.
Responsibilities
Dealing with financial reporting and banking returns to ensure compliance with reporting requirements and HKMA regulatory regime
Responsible for book closing and general ledger maintenance
Dealing with validations and controls to check for any discrepancies and irregularities to ensure efficient reporting
Liaising with other product and support groups when necessary to source and verify accuracy of data
Participate in ad-hoc reporting and projects
Requirements :
Degree in Accountancy or Finance
Professional Accountancy Qualification ie ACCA or CPA
Minimum 3-4 years working experience in financial control ideally regulatory reporting or from Audit (dealing with banking clients) with a Big 4 firm
Good analytical and numerical skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Good knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
Excellent Excel skills
Ability to work in a team, work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
