About Our Client Our client is a global organizer of exhibitions and shows for various multinational clients. They have a fashionable office in downtown Shanghai and facilities for producing their own exhibition products in the Shanghai suburbs.

Job Description:

The Factory Manager must effectively manage an entire production process and a team. The successful candidate will directly report to the Management Board for all related issues.

Other responsibilities:

Plan, organize and direct the production activity according to customer’s and company’s requirements.Manage warehouse facilities.Set up the production process, acquiring, planning and effectively utilizing technical and human resources.Liaise and manage various vendors.Handle inventory and ware- housing management.Develop and implement quality control systems and procedures.Plan and implement cost control systems.Develop and manage the warehouse and production team.Work in collaboration with designers, project team and other relevant parties as finance/purchasing to ensure the highest quality of the final product.

This role is open to both locals and expats but fluent Chinese and English is 100% essential.

The Successful Applicant: The successful candidate will not necessarily emanate from the Exhibition field, but should have a good understanding of the issues in this industry – agency background and project management understanding are helpful. He/She should have 8 years work experience in carpentry or wood construction, preferably within the exhibition industry and minimum 3 years of management experience within a manufacturing facility. Experience in logistics management is also a plus.
