About Our Client Our client is US listed group providing niche services and support to well known multinational companies, banks and professionals firms. A rare opportunity has arisen for a high profile finance professional to join them in the position of China Financial Director

Job Description: Your role will be to lead a small team to oversee a high quality finance function supporting the business operationally across the Greater China region. Key responsibilities will include overseeing all finance and accounting operations including financial and statutory reporting, FP&A activities, the implementation of SOX internal controls, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies/procedures as well as improving current business processes and financial systems. You will also act as a key adviser to the senior management team on all financial issues and manage a range of ad-hoc projects.

The Successful Applicant: You will be a professionally qualified accountant with at least 12 years experience gained from Big 4 and multinational organizations. Prior experience in the service industry is highly desirable and excellent knowledge of US GAAP and SOX with other Asia country exposure is required. To succeed in the role you must be a highly motivated individual with both a strategic and hands-on approach. Previous management experience, strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills are pre-requisites. Fluency in English and Mandarin is required.
