A pre-eminent MNC bank, with largest network of branches in Singapore & branch networks in the key Asian markets of Hong Kong, Indonesia, China and India and presence in Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, U.K, the U.S. and the Middle East is looking for an Application Specialist to join their Technology team.
The Technology team designs, develops and maintains computer application systems to support banking operations and provide innovative IT solutions, while harnessing new technologies to meet corporate objectives. In addition, the team centralizes, standardizes and regionalizes like-activities to achieve economies of scale and improve/re-engineer end-to-end processes to achieve world-class standards.
Responsibilities
Gather, analyze business requirements and develop proposals with cost and schedule estimates
Design and develop solutions with relevant software technology to meet business requirements, in compliance with Banks application architecture and infrastructure standards
Develop and integrate solutions with 3rd party vendors where applicable
Develop business requirements into functional / technical specifications
Manage program design and development delivery in accordance with the specification to meet business requirements
Lead and manage offshore development teams (where applicable) to ensure smooth and quality delivery
Manage User Acceptance Testing and oversee end-to-end deployment of solutions to production
Manage and review software development lifecycle activities in compliance with Banks standard and CMMI processes
Participate in projects as It Lead to ensure smooth delivery of IT solutions
Provide production support, problem resolutions and application management services
Requirements
Degree in IT or a related field
Minimum 3 years related experience in open system Retail & Corporate Core Banking System; experience with Finacle Core Banking system is a definite advantage
