Our client is a US MNC with its ASEAN headquarters in Singapore. Due to the recent expansion in the region, they are currently looking for a dynamic Assistant Financial Controller to join its existing team.



Reporting to the Financial Controller, the main responsibility for this role will be to provide general management responsibility for Asean, India and Australia financial department overseeing a multi location and multi cultural team by directing day-to-day activities of financial staff and prioritize tasks and responsibilities based on analyst skill sets and availability of department resources. In addition, the incumbent will also recommend economic strategies, objectives and policies. You will interact with senior management to provide counsel and guidance regarding financial related matters including profit leaks, margin enhancement and business development opportunities.



The suitable candidate will be a University graduate and a fully qualified Chartered Accountant. In addition, he/she will have over 10 years of accounting and managerial experience with familiarity of the US reporting requirements, PRC accounting standards, as well as tax, customs and cash management regulations. Credit management, SAP and project management experience is a definite advantage.



The ideal candidate will be able to multi task and meet deadlines, able to scale up the organisation rapidly, be independent and mature with strong leadership skills and must have a good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin. Travel will be required.
