Leading US MNC in networking hardware and security software, Our Client is looking for a Regional Presales Consultant for a Permanent Position in Singapore
TERRITORY:Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Philippines
Reporting to: Regional Director
JOB PURPOSE
To assist in the design, consultation and maintenance of networks including enterprise and network management systems, to suit customer business requirements.
Serve as the product champion for the designated technology. Familiar with ASEAN market and technical requirements in the Region. Understand the government requirements, security concerns, projects etc.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Accompany Sales Representatives to pre-sales and reseller meetings and provide expert technical support as required.
- Conduct regular training sessions and seminars to ensure resellers maintain up-to-date company and product information.
- Assist resellers and customers to fine-tune their network designs, enterprise and network management solutions.
- Deliver thorough technical presentations to reseller and customers as necessary.
- Conduct in-house and on-site product demonstrations for reseller and customers as required.
- Prepare tenders and/or proposals in conjunction with relevant team members.
- Ensure the management of accounts to minimize or manage any potential or existing issues by managing the following:
- Continually maintain and build relationships with resellers and customers.
- Ensure reseller and customer maintenance and repair issues are addressed.
- Ensure reseller and customer product issues are addressed.
- Ensure total resolution of reseller and customer issues.
- Install Company equipment for reseller or customer evaluation and provide operating instructions and/or basic training as necessary.
- Respond to all internal technical queries as required.
- Maintain superior technical knowledge in field of product championship and participate in related corporate conferences.
- Assist and contribute in all areas of project management as required.
- Provide consulting services as required.
- Undertake other work tasks as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Essential:
- Qualification Major in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Certification Minimum CCNP, CCIE or equivalent, CISSP is desired.
- Experience minimum 5 years system integration or project development in enterprise networking; Network security experience is desired, including IDS/IPS, NAC, etc.
- Communications - Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and independently.
