Providing strong support to product line on a daily basis. Using TQC/6-Sigma/LEAN concepts and methodology to continuously drive improvement of productivity of existing tester, test process and flow, tooling including fixture and equipment, and product reliability and quality. Applying advanced trouble shooting skills to identify and eliminate root cause(s) of problem. Conducting technical feasibility and ROIC study and research for manufacturing investment, and making recommendations in responsible areas to management. Designing and developing tester including hardware and software in New Product Introduction project following the test development lifecycle process. Establishing and qualifying new test processes to ensure successful introduction of new product. Advising R&D on applications of testing processes thru DFx review. Participating in transfer project. Works with production department to set up production line with stable testers. Solves the technical issues of tester systems after new production release.
Qualifications
Holds a bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering or equivalent, master degree is preferred. 2+ years work experience as a test development engineer in multi-national companies. Proved education and practical technical capability in mechanical design and test software development. Demonstrated proficiency of programming knowledge and skill with VB, C, VC and/or C#. Excellent analytical problem solving skills through applying PDCA methodology and using common quality control tools, such as SPC, DoE, DFx and FMEA, etc. Good data mining skills and data driven decision making capability.6-Sigma and LEAN knowledge is greatly favored. Demonstrated the strong abilities to produce useful engineering solutions for assigned problems in both independent and collaborative manner. Thrill to learning new knowledge and skills. Excellent speaking, listening and writing English skill Good reporting and presentation skill. Demonstrated strong leadership and project management skill including planning, scheduling, executing, reviewing and risk control skills/techniques. Demonstrated effective skill to communicate up and down, excellent interpersonal skill and teamwork skill. Good at MS Office.
