Job details A full-service investment bank is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing Singapore office. The primary focus of the role will be managing internal and external projects with in Asia. Responsibilities will include writing bespoke specifications at functional level, identifying and managing project risks, agreeing to project sign-off criteria, monitoring daily process and escalating issues internally when necessary. The Project Manager will need to form a professional relationship with clients in order to understand their needs, write status reports and communicate regularly with clients, work with clients on technical issues and understand all technical requirements for the project, work towards project success criteria and manage the clients expectations and escalate issues with the client as well as get their agreement and provide a solution. The incumbent will be responsible for Schedule, Cost, Functionality and Quality and will agree to the cost benefits of the project and update internal Client Relationship Management (CRM) system as well as liaising with Account Managers to resolve client’s issues and prepare service improvement plans. The successful candidate will be a software system/technology project manager with good financial markets knowledge and 3+ years experience in project management in the IT sector, or Business Analyst team leadership. Applicants should have good analytical skills and commercial awareness, the ability to document concisely and accurately and be capable of technical understanding in order to monitor progress on development work. Any professional Project Management training or certification would be a bonus. Fluency in English is a pre-requisite for this role.
