Our client, a leading City firm, is currently looking to hire a mid-level TMT Lawyer to augment its growing practice. The ideal candidate will have had exposure to a broad range of corporate transactions and be comfortable drafting and negotiating commercial contracts relating to the telecommunications, technology and media sectors. In addition to working for well known corporates within the TMT sector, our client also acts for those who support the sector such as banks, venture and private equity capitalists, industry bodies, regulators and governments. Candidates who are currently located in Hong Kong and have Chinese language skills are highly sought after although neither of these requirements is prerequisite. As well having knowledge of the Hong Kong market, knowledge of regional and international telecommunications and media markets will be advantageous. Applicants will ideally have trained in an international firm and have a high level of academic achievement, however, enthusiasm and commitment to the sector are equally as important.
