Job Description:
To act in the capacity of Project Surveyor. Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with minimum supervision.
To provide all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner.
To deliver key elements of large QS assignments.
Provide Cost Advice and Cost Planning including estimate, financial feasibility and comparative design studies, cost-in-use studies, life cycle costing, turnover/cash flow projections and profit/loss forecasts, cost control and cost report during pre-contract period.
Provide Contract Documentation including Tender Document, Tender Report, Pre-contract correspondence, LOA and contract documents.
Contract Services including all post-contract services, for example VO, Claims, Payment, Financial Report, Final Account and attending project meetings.
Specializations on taxation allowances and grants, planning or programming of contract works, resource determination, scheduling and purchasing, procurement of plant and materials, production cost/quality control, time standards and operational methods, productivity methods and evaluation, insurance, litigation and arbitration
The Successful Applicant:
To be successful you must have:
Good communication, inter-personal and supervisory kills.
Be prepared to travel outstation but not long period business trip.
Fluent in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
Minimum 6 - 8 years working experience in related field or higher.
Recognized Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
