Our client is now looking for potential candidates to fill the following position:
Responsibilities
Assist in establishing a global set of consistent accounting policies and procedures across the group through liaison with counterparts in other regions
Establish and monitor corporate policies and procedures at corporate and subsidiary levels
Act as the reference point for financial reporting matters in accordance with the International financial reporting standards in the designated region
Develop appropriate Finance policies & procedures taking into account compliance and risk management requirements as well as best practice processes
Achieving timely and accurate reporting of financial results
Assist in establishing consistent and coherent financial internal controls at hotels through monitoring and the setting up of an internal audit function
Coordinate with the Company’s external auditors in preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements presented to the external regulatory authorities and head office for the designated region
Requirements
Degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA accreditation
Minimum 8 years' relevant job experience, at least 5 years in managerial position.
Must have China work experience and be familiar with China taxation
Good knowledge on Hong Kong and China taxation, regulation, banking and treasury policies etc
Analytical, organized, resourceful and the ability to work under pressure within time line
Dynamic and results-oriented with strong commercial and business acumen
Proficiency in English and Mandarin (written & oral) essential
Strong people management & leadership skills needed to lead the Finance team
Strong team player & willingness to relocate
