One of the World's Largest International Banking Networks is currently seeking the services of a suitably qualified and flexible Financial reporting expert.
Reporting to the Section head of Financial Reporting, to be successful in this role you must possess:
At least 6-8 years of Head Office reporting experience in an International Bank
Familiarity with IFRS and a good knowledge of banking products
An ability to work independently
Strong computer literacy, particularly excel.
Depending on the calibre of the candidate, you may manage a small team of Finance Officers. In this role, you are in-charge of financial reporting to the Head Office. In addition, you will perform analytical review of balances, assist in Basel II reporting, review of acounting entries and financial reporting related processes for product launches and renewals. You will also be involved in process re-engineering and other ad-hoc projects.
