Our client, a major European Corporate and Investment Bank with over 10,000 employees in 45 countries; who develops high value-added, integrated financial solutions and posted exceptional results in 2007 is currently seeking AVP and VP level Management Accountants



THE ROLE :



This role will be Asia Pacific focused, wide in scope with supervision to a team of 5. You will be involved in the tracking, monitoring and production of the business performance financial MIS, and conducting financial analysis and forecast



- Supervision to the team of 5 in Head Office liaison, Regional accounting and finance team, Support Function Heads and Business Line Managers on reporting and queries.



- Supervision of payment section and expenses



- Review and analysis of cost allocation & inter-entity allocation, reconciliaition of accounting to front office results for dealing room and customer profitability reports.



- Participate in projects to system hubbing, migration and steamlining ie PeopleSoft, SAP, Essbase and in house systems



YOU ARE :



• Degree holder in Banking/Finance or Accounting with at least 5 years of relevant experience is highly essential



• Good basic understanding in financial and management reporting, and preparing business related MIS reports



• Meticulous and a good aptitude for numbers with strong analytical skills



• Possess positive attitude

Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with your business partners.



• Dynamic team player with the ability to work well under pressure



• Proficient in MS Office applications particularly MS Excel & MS Access and financial systems.





Candidates with Asset Management or Investment Banking background will be at an advantage
