Responsibilities:
Able to provide competitive analytical data and clear financial insights into the Consumer Business to assess financial impact to the business.
Able to highlight revenue enhancement and cost reduction opportunities to the business.
Responsible for Investment Optimization tracking to ensure maximum returns on investments.
Provide pro-active business financial planning, analysis and strategy support through partnership with business units in new product offerings, pricing and strategy to attain targeted market share, financial KPI and ensure overall sustainability of products.
Design investment/ROI templates for the Regional Consumer Business Team to ensure business returns are maximised for every investment dollar, business forecasts and operating budgets are aligned to Regional Strategy.
Understand Profit & Loss and Business drivers, sharing knowledge with Management so that efforts are focused on returning the highest profits for Regional Consumer Business.
Focus on identifying margin improvement opportunities, both in revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
Acutely aware of market competition and the impact to business.
Actively drives the forecast and planning processes highlighting risks and opportunities to Management. In partnering businesses, identify mitigating plans to bridge risks and/ or build new opportunities.
Ensure appropriate reporting tools are in place to track business performance for timely management decision. Work as a team to realign continuously towards regional strategy.
Candidate Requirements:
Background and Experience:
Qualified Accountant / Finance degree holder with minimum 7-8 years preferably in Banking or other business positions.
University degree major in finance.
Financial modelling skills, well versed in excel, access and PowerPoint.
Very strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
Ability to identify key trends and issues.
Strong self-starter, highly motivated and willingness to work with minimal direct supervision.
Confident, motivated and dynamic.
Strong interpersonal skill and a team player / leader.
