Job details The Senior Outbound/Channel Marketing Manager for our Digital Test Division (DTD) is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the outbound marketing team. With a thorough understanding of the markets in which DTD participates, the manager looks for cross-PL, or DTD wide initiatives to help guide the outbound teams messaging and establish visibility in the marketplace. As a member of the DTD Pyramid Marketing Executive Council, the manager is the senior leader to drive messaging across the broad set of customers at the bottom of the Pyramid in the applications in which DTD plays.

In addition to the above, the manager is responsible for being the senior leader and contact to the worldwide field organization. As such, the manager must understand the regional relationships and be though of as a partner in each region’s success. The manager must evaluate the channel model in the region and provide recommendations and strategies to increase market share, then help the region drive the strategies through to completion. The manager is responsible for any deals that require cross PL discounting and/or strategic planning in order to win. In addition, the manager owns responsibility for working with the DTD field marketing teams in each region to provide direction and leadership on the specific strategies and market share goals for the year. This manager will also work with and support the NSD (Network Solutions Division)Marketing Manager, and the NSD Marketing Manager as appropriate.



Qualifications
The primary accountability for this position is quarterly DTD orders. The leader must work with the Outbound, Pyramid, and regional marketing teams to build specific marketing programs that will grow the funnel every quarter. Similarly, the leader must also work with their strong relationships with the field sales management team to convert the opportunities in the funnel into DTD orders.

Experience includes outbound messaging, value proposition, marcom, distribution; excellent negotiation and influencing skills. Will report directly to the DTD Executive VP. Will lead a small team. Requires a bachelor's degree with at least 15+ years of experience in either the field, marketing or a combination of both.
