Our client is a diversified Financial Services organisation with a strong track record of growth and success in Asia This role falls into the funds management arm of the business which is their largest business in the region
Reporting directly into the Asia Pac COO your role will be to manage and motivate a large team who are undertaking the day to day operations responsibilities for their institutional and retail funds businesses from Singapore but also supporting Hong Kong and Japan. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence across this team as well as providing a fresh perspective in respect of the organisational structure of Operations You will be expected to provide strategic input into business direction as well as to help improve efficiencies and reduce costs
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- At least 10 years of operations experience with the ability to manage a large team
- Excellent understanding of day to day management of an Operations function
- Strategic and commercial acumen
- A good understanding of financial products and instruments
- Fluency in written and spoken English
