Job title: Research Executive Firefly (Qualitative)
Department: Firefly Client Service
Location: HongKong, Taiwan, Shanghai, Beijing

Overall responsibility:
The Research Executive Qualitative (RE) is part of the Client Service team in
their office and in a larger office will belong to a specific Client Service Team.
Their primary responsibility is to provide support to senior managers in
maintaining and developing relationships with existing clients and running
projects. They are developing their skills in key areas but operating under
supervision from the senior people on the accounts on which they work.

Key responsibilities:
The Research Executive Qualitative is responsible for:

· acting as liaison between the Client and Millward Brown Firefly on projectrelated
issues with supervision, ensuring that their needs are being met
· day to day involvement with projects for his/her clients, including
o drafting proposals
o designing topic/interview guides
o conduct of groups/in depth interviews or other qualitative fieldwork
o interpretation and development of recommendations
o preparation of presentations of findings, liaison with CSS
· attending presentations with senior account team members. They may
start to develop presentation skills by undertaking part of a presentation
· developing individual job costs, monitoring job costs throughout a project
and ensuring profitability, under supervision
· ensuring that they adhere to all procedures and policies in their team
· providing support to senior team members as required
· further developing their skills in all areas as members of Firefly Client
Service

Reporting:
The Research Executive Qualitative reports to a Manager in the Firefly
(Qualitative) team.

Personal skills:
The following skills are essential:
· At least 15 months to two years experience in Client Service
· Proven knowledge of qualitative market research
· Developing knowledge of MB products and philosophy (if being promoted
internally)
· Strong qualitative research skills
· Developing ability to build strong client relationships
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Commercial awareness
· Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
